Flying in West Virginia takes a lot of talent and ability, not only for the pilot but for the chase crew as well. The mountain terrain makes for challenging valley winds, thermals and sometimes interesting landings. The chase crew has the job of finding the balloon by using the often interesting to navigate roads of West Virginia.
